The cycle of seminars will reflect upon the power relations that influences our scientific heritage in Linguistics, both in Brazil and Italy, with emphasis in the first. From the perspective of Semiotics in dialogue with Linguistic Historiography, we will analyze howour discipline carries both tangible and intangible cultural heritages that includes the masculine domination also in science development.
