New approaches to the thought of the early modern age: forms, characters and aims of the constellation method

Abstract

This project aims to analyze the formation of the fundamental structures of philosophical thinking in the early modern age, through  editions of texts, setting up of lexicons, thematic essays and online archives.  All these materials will enable the individuation of conceptual constellations and themes’ nets that have connected sources, authors, readers and lexical transformations, in order to show the modifications of philosophical thought’s key elements between the end of the XVI and the XVIIth century.
