Spatiality has been a surprisingly underdeveloped theme in enactive cognitive science, yet it expands upon and mutually enriches several more well-studied concepts such as tool-use, temporality and intersubjectivity. Using both experimental and theoretical resources, I will present some case examples of how the neuroscientific construct of ‘peripersonal space’ intersects with accounts of our social, temporal and tool-using acts of sense-making.
