Program
Starting from the field of social innovation studies, the seminar reflects on the limited attention devoted to the communication of social innovation, both by practitioners and by academic actors. It outlines the key features of a project currently under development, which aims to investigate how and why territorial actors who design and study social innovation choose to communicate it. The theoretical objective of the project is to build a conceptual framework that integrates the literature on social innovation, co‑creation, and communication. Its empirical objective is to identify the elements shaping the communication strategies of public institutions, civil society organizations, and academic actors involved in social innovation initiatives, in order to understand which of these elements foster broader dissemination – and potentially greater sustainability – of Social Innovation.
